Scuba Abaya

My height is 5'10 (178cm) and I ordered Maroon in Size 60. It fits perfectly, doesn't drape on the floor (which I like) and isn't scratchy on bare skin.

The thing is, the product looks exactly like it is shown in the pictures and the fabric is the same as written: neoprene.

I must say I was very excited for all of the products I ordered but this scuba abaya hasn't fully convinced me yet. I think it's because of the "stiffness" that comes naturally from neoprene or that the top edges will constantly touch your neck or the fact that I can't close it since it doesn't have a zip, or knobs. It does have a hook at the very top though.

Why five stars then? Because they haven't left out any of it. Due to the pictures and descriptions I was able to see what I was about to receive. If I didn't like it, that's on me but the product is as displayed here soft and a little more set into its form.

I will see how I feel when going out in it and if anything bothers me. But still it looks very sophisticated and elevates your style enormously. It's just my experience and how I personally felt when wearing it. My sister was a bit surprised even when I told her it's neoprene, so a lot of people won't know.

I ordered different items to europe (germany) and it took one week to arrive. It would've been faster if I'd seen the notification for paying the import duties earlier but the mail arrived in my spam folder which I don't check that often.

As a non muslim I also want to encourage every woman who seeks true modesty to go for it. Even though starting, especially when you're all by yourself is hard, just do it. Stay firm in your believes, be confident in your choices and be polite at all times. People will always talk but don't let them intimidate you or talk you out of it. They'll eventually get used to it and figure out that there's more in life than gossip. Nobody can live your life to your expectations but you. So sweetie, you go for it!
